ROB BESSE

With almost 30 years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience, Rob Besse has an established track record of wholesaler leadership and consulting with pharmaceutical manufacturers. He’s aided in the launch of well over 100 new drugs and advised on dozens of enhancements to existing product programs. His diverse career allows him to provide a unique insider perspective, offering creative solutions related to selecting a launch channel strategy, contracting with distributors/wholesalers/3PL, data/EDI requirements, program pricing, regulatory compliance concerns, and changes to commercialization strategy.

Before joining Archbow, Rob served as Vice President, Operations at Besse Medical, part of the AmerisourceBergen Corporation (now Cencora). He was responsible for business development, procurement, contracting, compliance, and overall divisional operations. He served in that role from 1998 to 2016 and was part of the management team that grew that division into a multi-billion-dollar organization. He moved to a corporate role in 2016, reporting to the President of the ABC Global Sourcing team, supporting specialty pharmaceutical business development and program optimization.

Rob has a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from The Ohio State University. Today, he lives in the greater Cincinnati, OH area and enjoys traveling and playing golf with his wife, volunteering at his church’s food pantry, and spending time with his three adult children.
