KATHY CARLSON
Kathy Carlson brings more than 30 years of experience partnering with pharmaceutical manufacturers across Sales, Marketing, and Market Access. She combines deep industry expertise with broad commercial knowledge to help organizations navigate complex market access challenges and translate them into practical, actionable strategies. At Archbow Consulting, Kathy serves as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical manufacturers, guiding payer coverage, reimbursement, site-of-care strategy, route-of-administration considerations, patient affordability and support programs, specialty distribution, and commercialization planning. She is committed to helping clients develop solutions that improve patient access while supporting successful product launches and long-term brand performance.
Before joining Archbow, Kathy held leadership positions with EMD Serono, Novartis, Sanofi-Genzyme, and Takeda, where she developed and executed commercial and market access strategies across a diverse portfolio ranging from broad-market primary care therapies to complex specialty treatments. Her therapeutic expertise includes Oncology, Orthopedics, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, and Fertility. Throughout her career, she has consistently focused on creating, expanding, and preserving access to medicines for patients, reflecting both her professional commitment and personal connection to the field.
Kathy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College and a Master of Science in Communications Management from Simmons University. Outside of work, she is a Certified Mentor through the Kala Collective and volunteers with a local animal rescue, caring for cats and kittens while they await adoption. She and her husband are avid boaters, and they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
