PAUL FURGAL

With more than 25 years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience, Paul Furgal helps clients devise and implement successful commercial solutions.

Throughout his career, he has acquired proficiency in third party logistics, specialty pharmacy and distribution contracting, cell and gene therapies, reimbursement hub development, market access, and biologic product launches.  Today, Paul can provide a unique insider perspective and offer creative solutions to the supply chain challenges facing new products, such as cell and gene therapies.

Prior to joining Archbow, Paul worked in a variety of executive roles at McKesson.  Over the course of his 16 years at McKesson, Paul worked in manufacturer trade relations, negotiated wholesale and specialty buy-side contracts, built and operated McKesson’s 3PL service offering, led business development for multiple McKesson entities, and for a time was responsible for all strategic, commercial, and operational aspects of the Managed Distribution business.  Most recently, Paul created and led McKesson’s go-to-market cell and gene therapy solution.  During Paul’s successful tenure with McKesson, he had responsibility for P&L’s ranging from 5 million to over a billion dollars.

Prior to McKesson, Paul held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility with EMD Serono and Abbvie, including primary care sales representative, hospital sales representative, regional sales manager, branded product manager, managed care marketing, managed care account management, national trade director, and business unit director
